The internet is full of “reviews” that are really just rewritten sales pages. We do the opposite. Every review here is built around real usefulness: clear pricing, honest pros and cons, and a straight score, so you know what you’re getting into.

Who writes the reviews
Our reviews are written by a small editorial team, each covering the categories they know best. Alex Carter handles AI tools, software, and digital platforms. Maya Torres covers online courses, communities, events, and tech gadgets. Every article carries its author’s byline, and you can browse each writer’s full review history on their profile page.
How we review
Every product gets the same treatment:
- What it actually does: cutting through the marketing to the real functionality.
- Pricing, in plain terms: what you pay, what’s included, and where the upsells hide.
- Pros and cons: the honest trade-offs, not a list of features dressed up as benefits.
- A clear score: a single number so you can compare at a glance.
- Who it’s for (and who it isn’t): because the “best” tool depends entirely on your situation.
What our scores mean
Every review ends with a score out of 10. A 9+ means we’d recommend it to almost anyone in its target audience. An 8 to 8.9 is a strong product with real trade-offs worth knowing. A 7 to 7.9 works well for a specific type of user but has clear limitations. Below 7, we’d think twice. Scores reflect value for the intended user, not just feature count, so a $9 tool that does its one job well can outscore a bloated premium suite.
