⚡ Quick Answer
The AI Agency Engine is Sean Donahoe’s system for starting an AI agency for local businesses. At its center is Murage, a free desktop app for Mac, Windows and Ubuntu where a Chief of Staff builds a team of AI specialists, runs routines for you and drafts work that waits for your OK. I used the beta for 7 days. The launch starts with three free videos and a free Early Bird session on Tuesday 3 November at 10 AM ET. Score: 8.3/10, a strong pick if you want to see what an AI team can really do for a business before you spend anything.
You pay for an AI subscription. You have a to-do list that never gets shorter. And somewhere between the two, there is a gap: the AI answers your questions, but it does not run any part of your work.
That gap is what Murage goes after. Instead of one chat box, it gives you a small company: a Chief of Staff that proposes the right team for your job, specialists that do the work and a routine that has the morning brief waiting before you are. I spent seven days with the beta, and this review covers what it does, what the free launch includes and who should sign up.

What Is the AI Agency Engine?
The AI Agency Engine is a training and toolkit from Sean Donahoe and ADD Marketing Group for people who want to offer AI to local businesses. The pitch is straightforward: every dentist, roofer and med spa on your street could use AI, and almost none of them know how to install it. You paste a local business’s website into your AI team, get a demo built for them and the email that sells it, and offer to run it for a monthly fee.
The vendor gives income examples for that model. Those are the vendor’s own figures and not a promise, so read them as the best case and focus on whether the process makes sense to you. The free launch lets you find out before you spend anything.
What Is Murage?
Murage is the free app behind the launch. It runs on your own computer, with downloads for Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Ubuntu, and the page says it needs no code, no terminal and takes about 3 minutes to set up.
One thing to know up front: Murage is the hands, and it needs a model to think with. You can connect an AI subscription you already pay for, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. If you have none, the page offers Flux Router, a pay-as-you-go option with one key for every model and no monthly plan.
What I Saw in 7 Days With the Beta
A Chief of Staff that builds your crew
You start by telling the Chief of Staff, Ember, what you do. In the example shown above, the message was “I’m starting an AI agency for local businesses. Set me up.” Ember replied with a crew already in place: a Business Planner for priorities and plans, a Draft Partner that writes and then reviews its own work, and a weekly business review you can switch on when you want.
Teams that divide the work
Ask for something bigger and the Chief of Staff proposes a team. In the example below, asked to research whether a notes app should sell to dental practices, Ember lined up a lead and three specialists: market sizing, competitor pricing and buyer fit. You talk to the lead, and she runs the others.

What came back was a one-page recommendation with sources. The legend marks each claim as read from a source, worked out by the team or not established, and the page even said, in that example, not to sell into dental practices, with the reasons. A tool that is willing to say no is easier to trust than one that flatters your idea.

Drafts that wait for you
Murage can read through messages and draft replies, and it is careful. In the example, it worked from twelve pasted messages, wrote replies ready to send, left the blanks it could not know, such as pricing, instead of inventing them, and said clearly that nothing had been sent. The ones involving money waited for the owner either way.

Routines you approve
Routines are the part that makes it feel like a team. In the example, Ember set up a weekday morning brief: one page with what is on today, what came in overnight and the one thing to do first. It asked for confirmation before creating the routine, and it explained a limit plainly: routines only run while Murage is running, so a morning the computer is off is missed, not caught up later.

Free Before the Launch
You do not have to wait to try the idea. Signing up on the launch page is free, needs no card and gives you:
- Three sneak peek videos that show the process from a website address to a finished demo and the one-page report that keeps a client paying
- Murage, the free app, so you can build your first AI team before the live session
- An Early Bird seat an hour before the public
- A code for the Kickstart Kit, read out once in the first five minutes, so be on time
- A shot at $500 cash, given live to one person in the room. You have to be there to win

Why It Is Worth Watching
- It does the setup for you. Tell the Chief of Staff what you do and a crew appears
- It is honest about what it does not know. Sources are labeled and blanks stay blank
- You stay in control. Drafts wait for your OK, and routines wait for Confirm
- It is free to try. The app, the videos and the Early Bird seat cost nothing
- It runs on your computer. No terminal, no code and about 3 minutes of setup, according to the page
Who Is It For?
It looks like a strong fit if you:
- Use AI every day but do not yet have a system that does real work for you
- Run a business, a freelance practice or an agency and want an AI team for research, drafts and routines
- Want to explore offering AI setups to local businesses and see the process before you commit
- Like tools that ask before they act
It is not for you if you want a guaranteed income, no hands-on work, or a tool that runs when your computer is off.
What to Plan For
- Murage needs a model to think with, so plan for an AI subscription you already have or pay-as-you-go usage through Flux Router
- It runs on your computer, and routines only run while Murage is open
- Finding and serving clients is still real work. The vendor’s income examples are his own, and the page says results are not guaranteed
- The launch details are from the vendor’s page, and we will update this review with the full offer on launch day
Our Verdict
Score: 8.3 / 10
The score is high because Murage turns a chat box into a working team, asks before it acts, labels what it knows and what it does not, and the whole launch starts free. It stops short of a 9 because it needs a model behind it, runs only on your own computer and the agency side still depends on your own effort to find clients.
If you have been using AI as a better search engine, a team that sets itself up, does the research and has your morning brief ready is a big step. The free videos and the app let you see that for yourself.

Is Murage free?

No. The Murage page says there is no code, no terminal and nothing else to install, and that setup takes about 3 minutes.
Does Murage send emails on its own?
The page says drafts wait for your OK before anything goes out. In the beta screens, the app drafted replies and said nothing had been sent.
Does Murage run all the time?
